A Navarre teen was treated and released for serious injuries received in a two-car crash in front of the Winn Dixie Plaza in Navarre Wednesday night.
Shortly before 7 p.m. July 27, Brawdy Davidson Crawford, 19, of Navarre, was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 98, when the light at the plaza turned red.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, Crawford continued through the red light, striking the driver’s side of a car driven by Adrianna Maria Poling, 15, and her passenger, Robin Lynn Poling, both of Navarre.
Poling had a green light and was into the intersection, leaving the parking lot.
Neither Poling nor her passenger received any injuries.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Crawford was cited for a violation of a traffic control device.
