Beaches to Woodlands Making economic lemonade

Santa Rosa County is so much more than the sum of its parts.

From historic Milton and Jay north of Interstate 10, to the beaches south of U.S. Highway 98, and the rich woodlands in between, Santa Rosa offers a nearly endless supply of activities to do and things to see.

The upcoming eighth annual Beaches to Woodlands Tour will show residents and tourists just how diverse activities in the county can be. Slated for the month of October, the tour is touted as “a month-long celebration of Santa Rosa County’s cultural and natural treasures.”

This year, however, the Beaches to Woodlands Tour can officially call itself an award-winning event.
