Calling all Hams

Roughly 25 local amateur radio operators tuned in for the annual public demo of emergency communications June 25-26. The demo lasted 24 straight hours, set up at Navarre Park. Members of Navarre CERT, and other non-affiliated Ham operators participated. Ham operators made more than 650 contacts from all over the United States, Canada, Alaska and the Virgin Islands. The demo was part of the national Amateur Radio Relay League.
