Nighttime paving work beginning

Paving crews have started resurfacing U.S. Highway 98 between the Santa Rosa County line and Josie Road, located immediately west of the Hurlburt Field main gate.
The work will require nighttime lane closures.
“The paving work and associated lane closures will be limited to the 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. timeframe,” said Doug Pritchard, project administrator from Genesis CEI Services. His company is managing the construction project for the Florida Department of Transportation. “Limiting the lane closures to overnight hours will help minimize traffic impacts and travel delays for drivers.”
