Sorting out solid waste

After months of negotiations, the new solid waste collection services will begin in the south end of Santa Rosa County in about a week.

Waste Management will be servicing the Navarre area at $53.40 per quarter, and mailed postcards with prepaid postage requesting customers’ name, address, phone number and email address.

Pam LaCourse, district manager of Waste Management, said people could use the card, call the customer service number or email the information to the company as well to set up their account.
