Boardwalk at Navarre may not be dead

Developers are gauging interest in revisiting The Boardwalk at Navarre concept.

“We’re not commenting on that,”  said Tiffany Goss of Wallace Enterprises from the firm’s Atlanta, Ga., offices Monday.

But a newly erected sign between Whitney Bank and Baptist Medical Park Navarre declares  “Outparcels Available”  in white letters on a red background. Below, in black letters on a white field, the sign advertises lot sizes between 1 and 2.5 acres,  “Mainstreet”  retail shop space, up to four out-parcels and 196 residential units. The sign also identifies the potential development as The Boardwalk at Navarre and provides a telephone number for Wallace Enterprises.
