Two Gulf Breeze residents received minor injuries when their vehicles collided Friday.
Debra S. Smith, 47, of Gulf Breeze, declined medical treatment following a crash with Jarred M. Brown, 22, also of Gulf Breeze, June 9.
Brown, who was riding a motorcycle, was treated and released for minor injuries from Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, Smith was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 98 at 4 p.m., and had stopped in a median break at the intersection of El Rito Drive.
At the same time, Brown was eastbound on U.S. 98, passing a larger and slower moving vehicle.
Smith failed to see Brown, according to the FHP, and began making her left turn, crossing the eastbound lanes of U.S. 98.
Brown was unable to stop, striking Smith’s car and was thrown from his motorcycle.
Smith was cited for a violation of a right-of-way.
