Cause unknown in Friday brush fire

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department and the Holley-Navarre Fire Department responded to a brush fire in a vacant lot on Sundown Drive June 3.
The fire burned one-third of an acre and the cause has yet to be determined though Fire Inspector Joe Early and Chief Ron Norton examined the area.
Lifeguard and the Division of Forestry responded as well.
