Welcoming military with what Navarre has to offer

In time for Military Appreciation Month, a new business will present its product for the first time to incoming military families on May 27.

The new business, Welcome to the Beach, was started by Dawn Griffin and Kim Mizell, of Navarre, for two purposes: to welcome military personnel into their new community and show them all it has to offer.

“We really wanted to do a welcoming service, a military welcoming service,” Griffin said. “We researched that and saw some welcoming businesses, but there’s nothing like that around here.”
