New Navarre Beach Fire Department board elected

Navarre Beach Leaseholders and Residents Association Board held their annual election meeting May 12 to choose new board members for the Navarre Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

They held their voting at Best Western Conference room in Navarre on U.S. Highway 98 at 6:30 p.m.

Meeting came to adjournment at 6:34 p.m. and concluded by 6:37 p.m., so within three minutes business was concluded, with all current board members present along with Ralph Peterson the attorney for the association and Chief Mike Howard of the NBFD. The meeting was being held strictly to appoint new board members and no time was wasted on the job at hand.

There were two Navarre beach residents present and the final outcome of the voting stands with some changes. The new board members and titles are as follows: President, Robert Coley; vice president, Tim Keohane; secretary/treasurer, Ken Rudzki; director, Bruce Ehrenberger; and  director, John Lewis.
