‘Thursdays in the Park’ start on golden note

This upcoming summer season marks the fourth year of Thursday Evenings in the Park, a free concert series hosted by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Navarre Press.

The series is free to the public and made possible by local business sponsorships and food and beverage sales during the event. All proceeds benefit the concert series.

The concerts take place at Navarre Park, just west of the Navarre Beach Causeway Bridge on U.S. Highway 98. Performances run from 6 - 8 p.m. starting May 12 and continue each Thursday through Aug. 18.

Each week, the concerts will feature a different genre of music, ranging from Latin to country, to oldies to southern rock, and much more. Local favorite Emerald Gold will kick-off the series tonight, May 12. The show is sponsored by Gulf Coast Immediate Care.

Spectators should plan to bring blankets and lawn chairs and to arrive early as space is quickly filled.
