A Midway resident said she’s always played second fiddle, but when it comes to the May 25 season finale of “American Idol,” she’ll have the Kodak Theater as the backdrop to her first place prize.
While Merelle Spino, a teacher’s assistant at Woodlawn Beach Middle School, was watching “American Idol,” she saw the commercials on Fox 10 news that WALA-TV was hosting a contest where the grand prize winner would go to the season 10 finale.
