Candidates to address issues at election forum

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and 7. The forum will allow the candidates to present their platforms and to answer questions from the public before the primary election on Aug. 26.

On Aug. 4, the forum will include candidates running for Santa Rosa County Commission, Holley-Navarre Fire Board and Santa Rosa County Tax Collector.  The forum will be held at Navarre High School, 8600 High School Blvd.
On Aug. 7, the forum will include candidates running for Santa Rosa County Sheriff, Santa Rosa County School Board, Santa Rosa County Superintendent, U.S. Representative District 1, Public Defender Circuit 1, and State Representative District 1.  The forum will be held at Holley-Navarre Middle School, 1976 Williams Creek Drive.
Both of the forums are open to the public.  The Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee is asking that questions be e-mailed before the forum to MorrisFraser@gmail.com. Only written questions will be considered.
For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce at 939-3267 or Morris Fraser at 939-3379.
