This year’s annual Navarre Garden Club Spring Fling will be combined with the Garden and Environmental Expo for one event on April 8.
Ginger Eisele, Spring Fling chair, said this year the two events are combining because they wanted to simplify the planning of events.
“In the beginning, we started with a luncheon, crafts got added, plants got added, but the idea from the beginning was to promote native plants and we still do,” said Eisele. “This year we decided to add speakers and workshops.”
That means the Spring Fling will have speakers and a workshop in addition to the tasting luncheon, vendor and non-profit organization displays.
