Sharing her valley to provide hope

Angela Hughes is the adult honorary chair for this year’s Relay for Life. She is in remission from stage three breast cancer. Angela Hughes said the most important thing cancer has taught her is not taking life for granted, especially time with her daughter, Mikaela.
“I was a good mom, but now sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I look at her face and I thank God, I pray and thank Him, that I have that opportunity,” said Hughes. “I think how lucky I am, now I know how fragile life is.”
