Skip the Leprechaun spreads joy to everyone

Skip Aiken has spent the last eight St. Patrick’s Days on the Riverfront in Savannah, Ga. dressed as a leprechaun and celebrating with thousands.
His wife, Lauretta, said it all started with a vest and a hat, but has grown into a full outfit, shillelagh included.
“The first year he wore a hat and the next year we added something and it just grew. Then I said, let’s get a real, professional outfit,” said Lauretta Aiken. “It has just evolved.”
Skip said his favorite things about dressing up to celebrate are the people and the fun.
