Santa Rosa County School Board officials took time out of their regular meeting schedule to honor the Volunteers of the Year at a meeting held Feb. 10 in Milton.
Many of the volunteers, honored for their contributions to the school system, include several who contribute to Navarre’s schools. The top honor, Adult Volunteer of the Year, went to Amy Morris of West Navarre Primary School. Morris was also honored as the Regional Winner for Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. The award is the highest honor available for volunteers.
