Crime and Coffee: Sheriff Hall presents crime statistics

Members of the Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce gathered for the first monthly Commerce & Coffee networking event of 2011 and learned the economy was having a noticeable effect on crime in the area.

The main speaker for the event was Santa Rosa County Sheriff Wendell Hall. Hall spoke about area statistics for the last five years. In many areas, numbers had gone down during the five year period, but 2010 saw increases. One of the main examples was part one crimes.
