Joe Meyer may have won the award for top volunteer coach, but sports are not the most important thing to him.
Coach Joe, as he’s known to his players, was named the Pullum Family YMCA’s Volunteer of the Year at the YMCA of Northwest Florida’s Annual Meeting on Sept. 21.
Meyer has been coaching for more than six years. He’s coached over 24 teams, memorized more than 300 names and has loved every minute of it.
