Donations sought for Christmas in the Park

After nearly six years of being the driving force behind Christmas in the Park, Frankie and Barbara Gibbs are hoping for a miracle on U.S. Highway 98.

While the two painstakingly put out decorations and lights for the annual celebration, hosted by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, they aren’t sure that this year’s fest will be as wondrous as last year’s.

“Donations this year are low,”  Frankie Gibbs said. “And we need donations of all kinds: bikes with helmets, baked goods, monetary donations and toys.”
