An attorney for the existing fixed-base operator at Peter Prince Airport invited a would-be competitor to consider buying his client’s business instead.
“If these people really want to run an FBO, come and make an offer and buy it,” said Michael Schofield of the Pensacola firm Clark, Partington, Hart, Larry, Bond & Stackhouse at an Oct. 28 meeting of the Santa Rosa County Commission.
Schofield represents Aircraft Management Services Aviation Inc., the sole service provider of mechanical and other services at the 3,700-foot-runway, county-owned airfield since 2001. Davis Glass has managed the facility since 1993.
