A Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Deputy is OK after flipping his patrol car Sunday night.
Deputy Brad Baney, 27, was en route to an armed disturbance around 11:50 p.m. Sunday when his car hydroplaned and spun out of control, landing upside down on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 98.
According to a report issued by the Florida Highway Patrol, Baney’s vehicle was in “emergency operating mode” when it struck a palm tree, skidded over a pool of standing water and overturned.
