Pensacola man sentenced to 60 years

A Pensacola man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for crimes he committed in Santa Rosa County.
Jeffrey Scott Seward, Sr., 43, was convicted in July on three counts of sexual battery and one charge of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child.
According to a news release issued by the State Attorney’s office, Seward committed the crimes over a four-year period at various parks and campgrounds. The victim in the case was between the ages of 12 and 17, the release stated.
