Splash pad to open May 1

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce announced the date for the reopening of the Splash Pad a popular seasonal attraction at the John Duncan Memorial Children's Park, located at the Navarre Park at the foot of the bridge in Navarre.

The Splash Pad will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.

The Children's Park Splash Pad is a place where younger kids can cool off in a water-based play area.  The Splash Pad was made possible by the efforts of many community sponsors and on-going fundraisers by a local women's service group, Beta Sigma Phi. The playground was renamed in memory of the late John Duncan who was a local Realtor, chamber leader, and park volunteer.
