Fire district plans for inspections responsibility

The Holley-Navarre Fire District is moving forward with plans to take on fire safety inspections for residents and business owners in its district.
Last September, Tambre Lee, a fire safety inspector and plans examiner with Santa Rosa County, told fire commissioners that, in an effort to cut erroneous expenditures from its budget, county officials were relinquishing its responsibility of inspecting buildings for fire safety.
