Hurricane Gustav forced the Krewe of Jesters to postpone their first rubber duck derby and other Labor Day activities until Oct. 11.

"If we tried to have that race today, our ducks wouldn't float, they'd fly," said Wayne Hall, chairman of the Krewe's fundraising and parade committees.
