Chamber seeks Navarre’s 2009 Citizen of the Year

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2009 Citizen of the Year.

Each year, the chamber recognizes its business community for year-long contributions including Volunteer of the Year; Sprit of Navarre; Legends Award; Business of the Year; and more.  The awards are presented at the chamber’s Annual Awards and Leadership Installation Celebration, which will take place on Jan. 9, 2010.

Persons of interest for the Citizen of the Year award must have demonstrated “extraordinary commitment to Navarre” over 2009. 

While many awards are limited to chamber members only, the Citizen of the Year is an award is for the citizen who made the biggest impact on Navarre, regardless of membership affiliation.  Previous recipients include Santa Rosa County Commissioner Gordon Goodin, Realtor/Broker Bart Pullum, and NJROTC Commander Capt. Mark Eubanks.
