Zimmern to take gavel as Gulf Breeze’s first woman mayor

Making history wasn’t in Beverly Zimmern’s plans.
She accepted appointment to the Gulf Breeze City Council in 2001 to continue working to improve her community. On July 6, she will become its first woman mayor.
