Filling the boot for MDA

A firefighters pledge to save lives extends beyond routine medical calls for aid, battling blazes and educating fire safety.

For over fifty years, members of the International Association of Firefighters have been raising funds to further the research efforts of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The IAFF is the biggest sponsor of the MDA’s Labor Day telethon and contributed more than $23.5 million in 2006.
