Keep pets away from poison plants

When Cheryl Schell saw her 9-month-old Maltese prancing about with a sago palm bud in her mouth, she thought nothing of it.

“She was playing with it like it was a toy; it looked like an apple,”  Schell said, now holding the dog, Sagan, tightly.
