Rallying for education

Santa Rosa County education officials are asking residents to urge state legislators to “Make Schools a Priority.”

4_30_edurally_text.jpgAbout 300 concerned residents gathered at Milton High School on April 23 for the countywide Rally for Education. Concerned parents, teachers, students and community leaders held signs with the slogans  “Make Education A Priority” and  “Make Cuts to Education Last”  while shaking noisemakers and filling out post cards for each of the area’s representatives.
