Santa Rosa County will join the nation in observing Public Safety Telecommunications Week from April 12-18 to honor the men and women who respond to emergency calls and ensure the proper life-saving services are deployed quickly and correctly.
County dispatchers answered 51,465 calls for fire, law enforcement, medical, search and rescue, and after-hours animal control services.
