Navarre Raider Swimmers cheered each other on Saturday, September 18 at Hunter Pool in Pensacola. Navarre Raider girls placed second only to Niceville by 8 points. Pace girls were third with six points less. Navarre Raider Boy swimmers came in third behind Choctaw and Washington High Schools.   Photos are HERE.

A family of five from Melbourne suffered minor injuries Thursday when the sport utility vehicle in which they were riding struck three vehicles and rolled onto its roof at the intersection of State Road 87 and U.S. Highway 98.

She doesn’t remember much, but for this cadet-commander of the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps at Navarre High School, that’s not what matters.

Navarre trailed the Walton Braves by 16 points at halftime of Friday’s high school football shootout, but the Raiders put on their “angry“ game faces to overcome the Braves’ explosive offense and battled their way back to a 42-36 home victory.

The weather cooperated as Juana’s Good Times Regatta lived up to its name this weekend on Navarre Beach. More than 50 boats signed up for the event.

“Many of those entered, registered early,” Kevin Rudzki of Juana’s Pagodas said. “We knew a few weeks ago that we could count on a good turnout.”
