Norton named Holley-Navarre fire chief

The Holley-Navarre Fire District’s Board of Fire Commissioners on Jan. 5 selecting Ron Norton to be the department’s new fire chief after months of his serving as interim chief.

1_15_norton_text.jpgCommissioners had been meeting since November to decide how to fill the vacancy left when former Fire Chief Les Slocum died of colon cancer Oct. 31.
