Crist reappoints Montgomery to Corridor Authority

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist announced last week the reappointment of Bob Montgomery and three other members of the Northwest Florida Transportation Corridor Authority to four-year terms ending in August 2012.

Montgomery, 62, of Pensacola, owns Montgomery Realtors Inc. He represents Santa Rosa County on the eight-county board charged with improving safety and efficiency along U.S. Highway 98 and evacuation routes stemming from the busy east-west highway.

Other members reappointed include T.W. Maurice Langston, 56, of Crawfordville, a deputy sheriff with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Department; Stephen K. Norris, 48, of Port St. Joe, a contractor with Classic Coastal Construction Inc.; and Franklin County Commissioner Cheryl K. Sanders, 53, of Carrabelle.
