Location determines cost of water

The water may come from the same place, but the rates residents pay for that water depend largely on where they live.

Fairpoint Regional Utility Authority is the source of water from the City of Gulf Breeze to Holley-Navarre, including Navarre Beach; however, rates vary from a low base rate of $4 to a high base rate of $27.45.

The base rate is the minimum rate charged that appears on each bill regardless of usage. Thereafter, the rate per 1,000 gallons of water used also varies.
