Citizens Property Insurance Corp. made changes to its complaint intake process after a review of 474 cases that were investigated from 2008-2012.
“Where we found weaknesses, we are making necessary improvements to strengthen our complaints and disciplinary procedures,” said Joe Martins, Citizens’ chief of internal audit in a news release.
Citizens came under increased scrutiny after it fired four employees from the disbanded Office of Corporate Integrity last year.
