Sounds of Africa come to Navarre

The Watoto Children’s Choir has sung for presidents, has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and toured internationally for almost 20 years. Next week, the world-renowned choir will perform in Navarre.

Navarre First Assembly of God, 9594 Navarre Parkway, will host the choir at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13.

“We wanted to get them on a Sunday but they were booked up,” senior pastor Jon Skipper said. “So we took whatever date they had. We started planning this a year ago.”
