Gun ban talk heightens concerns

U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., introduced Senate Bill 150 on Jan. 24 to regulate assault weapons.

“Imagine that you receive a call from your child’s school that there has been a shooting. How would you feel? Panicked? Terror-stricken? Helpless? Those were the feelings experienced by hundreds of parents whose children attend Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.,” Feinstein read as she introduced the bill.
