Where were you when JFK was killed?

On Nov. 22, 1963, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated while parading through Dallas, Texas, in an open-top convertible.

Forty-five years after the  nation mourned the 35th president, people can still recall where they were when they heard the news that the president had been shot.
“I remember it was my 21st birthday,” said Barbara Janzen. “I went to the bar to celebrate with my friends and when we got there the bar was closed and we found out the president had been shot.”
