Santa Rosa County Commissioners narrowly approved Commission Chairman Bob Cole’s covered arena project in East Milton during a Jan. 22 meeting with a 3-2 vote.
Commissioners Jim Melvin and Jim Williamson were opposed to approving the go ahead for construction based on lingering concerns about management and insurance liabilities.
