Proposed changes to State University System

Proposed Amendment 12, the last on the Nov. 6 ballot, seeks to change who will have a seat on the Board of Governors of the State University System.
Presently, the BOG has 17 members: the Commissioner of Education, the chairman of the Advisory Council of Faculty Senates, the Florida Student Association (FSA) president and 14 governor-appointed and senate-confirmed members.
