Mixed emotions flooded the ceremony, as nearly 100 residents, veterans, students and active duty military gathered at the Navarre Memorial Park to celebrate and honor the United States veterans.
The event was hosted by the American Legion Post 382 in Navarre. Traditionally, the ceremony is held on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to commemorate the WWI Armistice, later dubbed Veteran's Day by Congress.
