Navarre Chamber Annual Awards and Installation Banquet

More than 170 were in attendance Saturday night as the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual installation and awards banquet at Hurlburt Soundside. Chairman of the board, Tommie Vatter of Kool Breeze passed the gavel over to 2012 Chairman John Hays of East Bay Insurance. The 2012 chamber board was installed by Santa Rosa Sheriff Wendell Hall.

Award winners were as follows:

Ambassador of the Year: Shirley Brown

Mentor of the Year: Linda Fusco, All Phase Cleaning

Volunteer of the Year: Navarre High School Junior ROTC

Director of the Year: Jim Taylor, Century 21 Realty

Spirit of Navarre Award: Eglin Federal Credit Union

Member of the Year: Norm Crowder of Gilmore Insurance and Bonding

Business of the Year: Juana's Pagodas/Sailor's Grill

Chairman's Award: Santa Rosa Medical Center, Navarre Cert, and Navarre Krewe of Jesters

Citizen of the Year Award: Etta Lawlor

Corporate Citizen of the Year: Gulf Power

Legend's Award Phil Babiak: Century 21 Island View Realty
