Yes it’s possible and no, it’s not illegal.
The Holley-Navarre Fire District may no longer respond to certain medical calls in the area.
The topic of charging Lifeguard Ambulance Services for assisting in emergency calls resurfaced at the last fire commission board meeting on Oct. 6. The district is seeking to alleviate its resources by either billing Lifeguard for unnecessary calls, or just not responding to them at all.
