The Navarre Youth Sports Association on Wednesday suspended a director accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy.
“Everyone’s innocent until proven guilty in our system, but we have to take whatever action is necessary to protect our children and NYSA,” said Darrin Nicely, vice president of the NYSA Board of Directors.
Sheila Broome Langman, 38, of Parker Lake Circle, was arrested Oct. 13 and charged with lewd and lascivious battery after the boy told authorities he and Langman had sex at Langman’s home several times between July and September. She was released Oct. 15 on $50,000 bond but ordered to remain under electronic surveillance.
