Navarre Community Center is up for grabs. The Santa Rosa County Commission last week approved soliciting proposals for use of the 3,200-square-foot office building at 1917 Navarre School Road when the current lease expires in December.
“We will make a proposal like everyone else,” said Tara Capron, Navarre Area Board of Realtors president, on Monday, adding that NABOR also was considering other options if its bid is unsuccessful. Capron in September had asked the county to extend NABOR’s lease.
“Working together with the Chamber of Commerce, our onsite presence has proven to be mutually beneficial in the care and operations of the facility,” Capron wrote in a letter to the commission dated Sept. 5. For more information, see the Oct. 16 issue of the Navarre Press of subscribe online.
