County undecided on funding park programs

Bailouts don’t come easy in Santa Rosa County. If sports associations want help meeting operating expenses, they’ll have to prove it’s needed.

“Until there’s a demonstrated need, I’m not ready to give away any money,” Commissioner Gordon Goodin said last week.  “I think that there’s a lot of cause and effect here that we should consider and we haven’t gotten into that. I don’t know where the need’s coming from.”
