Sen. Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, sponsored the Oil Spill Economic Recovery Act, Senate Bill 2156, in hopes of bringing expedited economic development recovery to the eight counties in Northwest directly affected by the 2010 Deep Horizon oil spill.
