The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Santa Rosa County from 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2 through Monday evening, Sept. 5.
Residents should ensure that drainage ditches, catch basins, and culverts are cleared of debris before rain onset to allow for adequate drainage. Predictions indicate anywhere from 10-20 inches of rain this weekend.
